Now Accepting New Clients!

Working with me

First, we will have a brief phone consultation to discuss your concerns and how we can address them.  This is typically about 15 minutes in length and it’s a way for both of us to decide if we are a good fit for one another.  I am sure you have questions you would like to ask me, and I may have a few of my own questions to ask you as well, such as:

Where did you hear about me?

What is your main reason for reaching out right now?

How did you decide to contact me specifically?

Then, we will take a look at our availability and find an appointment time that works for both of us.  After our call, I will send you an email link where you will complete initial paperwork through my secure online portal Simple Practice prior to our first meeting.  There’s no need to print out any paper forms to bring with you.  I will have everything electronically on file after you review each document and give your electronic signature.  The online paperwork will also include directions to my office and other helpful information.

At the first meeting, we can go over any questions you have about therapy, discuss in more detail what brings you to seek help at this time, and identify goals for our work together.  We will also decide on appointment times which fit with your schedule.  I offer convenient evening appointments for those working later hours.  Most people who begin therapy meet weekly and find it helps provide immediate relief, builds trust and rapport more rapidly, and is something they can count on week to week.
